The room featured a spacious layout with a private bathroom equipped with a generous walk-in shower, perfect for two. The surrounding farm offered beautiful views of fields and mountains, along with access to the Shenandoah River for a peaceful retreat.

Getting there involved a bit of a trek off the main road. The remoteness might not be everyone's cup of tea. While the hotel had its charm, some areas seemed to need a bit more attention in terms of maintenance to bring out its full potential.

Breakfast was a highlight, with good homemade muffins and a unique 'Frog Jam' that added a personal, local touch.

The road leading to the BnB was quite tricky to navigate, which may be challenging for first-time visitors.

River Bluff Farm offers a lovely escape with amazing river views from cozy common areas. The blend of rustic charm and modern amenities made the atmosphere warm and inviting. Although the drive might seem lengthy, the serenity and charming hosts made this place special.

Waking up to homemade breakfast overlooking beautiful views was a highlight of my stay. The charm of the place. I enjoyed the tranquility of the river and the surrounding countryside. After breakfast, I hiked to the top of the bluff for fine views. The hosts were cute and added a personal touch to my visit. It reminded me of a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The King Room provided a rustic charm and modern conveniences. Breakfast featured good jams and healthy options made from farm-fresh ingredients. Navigating the area was tricky due to Google Maps' inaccuracies, and the proximity to some attractions was more challenging than expected. While the hotel had many charming aspects, some areas could benefit from maintenance to shine.

This place is great, and has everything I need, like free wi-fi in rooms, an outdoor dining area, and hiking. I remember how the staff helped me find my lost earring during my first stay. I recommend enjoying breakfast on the deck with those fine mountain views! I'm definitely coming back for a weekend.

perfect base to explore quiksburg's historic gems

I had a wonderful stay where I enjoyed the hospitality, and it was the ideal spot for discovering landmarks like the New Market Battlefield State Historical Park and walking through the scenic Shenandoah Valley Flea Market, both just a short drive away.

It was just a perfect match for a short visit in Quicksburg with really good value. I really appreciated the generous homemade muffin for the road on my way out-such a nice touch! Be sure to check out the canoe for a peaceful time on the river.

Comfy bed, nice bathroom with climate control, and there's coffee/tea facilities and an iron in the room 🙂

I had the most very nice stay at a charming B&B nestled in the scenic countryside. The hosts, Donna and Matt, made me feel right at home and the house was spacious with multiple common areas. The back porch offered amazing views of the Shenandoah River. I even had the opportunity to hike up to The View for a fine sunset. The night sky was clear and perfect for astrophotography with a rented lens. The morning brought a delicious breakfast of frittata, homemade sausage, fruit, muffins, and frog jam. This serene and relaxing spot is a must-visit. I highly recommend this B&B.
